I am a 24-year-old multimedia journalist from Dublin. I am a graduate of the MA in Journalism at NUI Galway, and before this completed my undergraduate in Music and Film Studies at Trinity College Dublin.
I have a lot of interest in digital journalism, and have experience in SEO Optimisation, utilising User-Generated Content and Verification. I also have TV broadcasting, studio skills and live radio experience. I have proficient skills in visual and audio editing and have used Logic Pro X, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier Pro, Audition. I also have sub-editing skills and have experience in using InDesign and Photoshop. I am skilled also in Data Journalism and have used Tableau and Flourish to create data visualisations. I also have experience in financial journalism and completed the Bloomberg BMC course online
In Trinity College, I contributed a lot to student media. I wrote for Tn2, University Times and Trinity Film Review. I became editor for Trinity Film Review in my final year, and during this time edited and published two print issues and a continuous stream of online content. I also was editor for DU Music's annual academic music journal Writings About Music (2019).
At NUI Galway, I have contributed to Student Independent News (SIN), and Flirt FM.
I also have bylines with The Irish Times, The Connacht Tribune, The Galway City Tribune.
